Krystal Gibbins

Krystal started playing darts at 16 when she played for the same team as her sister at the Labour Club. Her sister promised her that if she could get better than her, then she wouldn't have to babysit and could go to darts instead of her. Krystal practiced constantly in her kitchen.

Then after her first season, went on to join the Beaufort Arms and played in the Summer League.

Her potential was noticed and she was asked to play for a new team in the Super League that was just starting up.

Krystal has now played 3 seasons with Cheltenham Spa in the Gloucestershire Super League. In her first season being picked to play for Gloucestershire County.

Having just finished her third county season, playing 25 county games, this
season attaining the highest checkout award and highest county average for Gloucestershire.

In the (2011-2012) season of Super League Krystal finished top of the ladies averages, also winning the highest amount of ton+ scores along with the highest checkout.

Throughout these seasons she's travelled to Hull twice to play in the World Championship qualifying events.

Her first year was unsuccessful, losing in the first round to an American international. However her second visit was a lot better as she made it to the quarter finals,( two games away from the televised World Championships at the Lakeside).

Krystal's best achievement to date is qualifying for the Winmau World Masters which will be played in October this year in Hull.
She qualified for this through finishing in the top 20 out of all 5 divisions in the British Inter Counties Ladies average table.
